Background: Since x-tbwsrn pretended to work for Obama, he - at one point - asked me to read a couple of Franken books and showed me the specifics of taking notes in a particular way. You know, so it’s all formatted correctly. For opposition prep. And stuff. It was important …
and fake. Very, very fake.
Well, [...]

Since we last saw each other consistently,
I look different. I dress differently. I do different things with my time. I am into different TV shows. I like different music.
Many of the things we used to love about us … have changed.
You used to know me better than I knew myself.
I am in mourning of the [...]

Soooo, I have a fantassstic NYC update.
I clicked open my gmail the other day to see a message from a (former) co-worker.
“OMG! My boyfriend’s sister…
just broke up with her boyfriend of six years…
who was in law school…
and now she is moving to NYC…
August 1st.”
(I may have added the OMG for emphasis. And for FUN.)
So… ladies [...]

Minneapolis’s Pride celebration was this weekend. A good time had by all.
It was about 3 am and we were walking back from dancin’ our hearts out at the Saloon when a screeching noise from the road got our attention. Car accident?
Close, but not quite.
Instead we saw an ambulance - lights off - charge ahead and [...]

I was filling the sides of the kiddy pool with air.
The phone rang.
“What is your favorite Michael Jackson memory?”
And then the caller delivered the news.
Luckily,
I was surrounded by the friends who love Jacko the best. We could appreciate.
So
And then?
(In all seriousness, as odd as his life seemed to have become, we can all appreciate the [...]

I can’t…
Whistle. Give directions. Watch FOX news without making obscene gestures at the screen. Manage my time when the internet is in play. Seem to make myself care about changing my oil.
I can…
Run and enjoy it. Make a mean playlist. Find the “art” in Gossip Girl.
I won’t…
Reduce myself to chick lit. Overeat just because my [...]

I have learned a lot about the nature of people in the last few months.
In fact, I believe I can confidently categorize all human life into various groups based solely on their reactions to…
the move.
It’s like I’m a soothsayer.
Here’s the secret: It’s not about how supportive or unsupportive the person is in general or even [...]

I am a personal attendant in a wedding this weekend.
I am sick, sick, sick of leaving my hair down for weddings. Boring, right?
So, I’m in for a haircut with my fantastic, talented hair lady - whom I don’t rely on to make life decisions but whose breadth of hair knowledge gives me something to believe [...]

First of all, apologies for being the absentee internet friend. I’m really frustrated with my inconsistent internet connection. Since it is stolen internet, however, I have no real grounds for complaining. So, here I sit - earbuds in, sipping my iced coffee - at the local Dunn Bros. I am going to type and save [...]

I am torn over the etiquette of Facebook status messages.
More specifically, I get annoyed with the constant-updaters.
“I am mowing my lawn.” “Just put the lawnmower away.” “Wow, it was tiring mowing the lawn.”
Umm, yeah. Can’t say that I care.
BUT - at the same time - it is also fun to peep into the lives of [...]
